Download data samples
On this page you can download free samples of geographical datasets offered by Geodan. The datasets for The Netherlands are all selections of the regular dataset. You will download de data of the town subdivision Amsterdam North only. To get an image of the dataset for the whole country, you will find a pdf file in the download package which illustrates the complete dataset.
The geographical datasets can be opened in Mapinfo Professional and ArcGIS (amongst others). If you do not own a GIS software yet, please download the free Geodan Mapper from this webpage.
The downloadable zip file containing the datasets under 'Netherlands' contains both Mapinfo (tab) and ArcGIS (shp) formats, 'Europe' and 'World' contain files specified with an M (Mapinfo files) or S (ArcGIS Shape files). The shape files can be opened using the Geodan Mapper.
