Esri International User Confernce
From July 23th till 27th the Esri International User Conference take place in San Diego. Geodan will be present at largest geospatial conference worldwide. On Monday morning (July 23th) colleague Eduardo Dias tells more about the Earthwatchers application. This application helps to save the forest in Borneo. In the afternoon, during the Map Gallery, he will present the applications, which is used by millions of young people around the world. These agents are monitoring the forest and report to the world using a WebGIS environment (Eathwatchers application) and up-to-date satellite images. Read here more information about the conference.
ESRI International User Conference 2010
At this event in the Microsoft Booth, Eagle (joint venture of Geodan and ESRI Netherlands)) will be present. The fire brigade of Gelderland-Midden will demonstrate Eagle, a crisismanagement solution that uses software and infrastructural components to foster communication between organizations in extreme situations and facilitates complex geospatial analyses on available data. Microsoft Worldwide Partner Event 2010
Microsoft has awarded Geodan as Public Sector, Public Safety & National Security Partner of the Year. Henk Scholten, CEO Geodan, will receive this award during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Award in Washington in July 2010. He is also invited to give a presentation during this conference.
