The 2-digit postcode data set of Europe consists of different map layers and attribute data. The most important map layer is the 2-digit postcode area map.
Version 2010
The current version contains the following 46 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
Content data set
The data set consists of 2-digit postcode areas and points. The point position represents the location of the most important city within the 2-digit postcode boundary. The data is attributed with ISO2 country codes and citynames (among others). The data set also contains reference data: rivers, lakes and an altitude relief map.
