GeoStreets street network The Netherlands is the digital street map of The Netherlands. Based on a recognisable map image, you can better understand locations and characteristics of the environment. Through the structure in different map layers, this dataset can be used to define what information is shown and in what way. Precise routing is possible with the street network.
Content data set
GeoStreets street network consists of the following components:
- street vectors as a network, including attribute data for the purpose of routing software;
- surface information in different map layers for building a topographical map.
The GeoStreets source files are constantly updated. New housing estates are added within three months after the addresses have been assigned. Based on for example air photos and municipal maps, the map image is precisely drawn in.
