GeoStreets street map The Netherlands is the digital street map of The Netherlands. Based on a recognisable map image, you can better understand location and characteristics of the environment. With the 6-digit postcode points, street points and places of residence, you can quickly find a location on the map.
Content data set
GeoStreets street map The Netherlands consists of the following components:
- Street maps on six levels of detail. A MapInfo or ArcGIS extention is part of this set for automatically opening the right maps, depending on the position on the map and the zoom level.
- Search functions by street, place and postcode. For quickly finding streets, the set also contains 245,000 streets, 2,500 places and 440,000 postcode points.
- Geocoding by postcode. This way, you can quickly put your own addresses on the map based on a 6-digit postcode.
The GeoStreets source files are constantly updated. New housing estates are added within three months after the addresses have been assigned. Based on for example aerial photos and municipal maps, the map image is precisely drawn in.
