Geodan Movida: Technical key features
Location, identification and sensor information - Geodan Movida supports telecom operators location (Cell-ID or AGPS); satellite location; Wi-Fi location, RFID location and ultrawideband location. All location and sensor information (for instance, temperature, speed, and humidity) are exposed in the same standard way, hiding the complexity of underlying technologies.
Alerts - generates alerts and/or messages when users enter or leave predefined areas, or when user get close to each, or when they leave corridors and allowed areas. Alerts can be associated to any other sensor information (for instance, temperature) or to any combination of the two, making it possible to create fast and simple rules but also sophisticated ones for the most demanding applications.
Mapping, geocoding - for outdoors, full coverage of Europe with aerial photographs, road maps, topographic maps, buildings. For indoors, floor plans or CAD drawings. Supports most common GIS formats and can use existing mapping services.
Web Services - Geodan Movida adopts a service-oriented architecture. The platform can be accessed through an extensive API for integration with other applications, such as CRM, ERP or Logistics packages.
