4-digit postcode points The Netherlands
The 4-digit postcode point layer of The Netherlands is part of the 4-digit postcode data set of the Netherlands. However, the layer can be purchased also separately. The 4-digit postcode points show the middle points of the 4-digit postcode areas. The points can be supplied in different formats (GIS and database). In all formats, there is an x and y column with coordinate information in the Dutch national geodetic triangulation system (Rijksdriehoeksstelsel). Other projections are provided on request.
Version 2008
The reference date of the current version is January 1, 2008. The number of 4-digit postcodes in this version is 4,028. Compared to 2007, two postcodes have been added and two postcode have been cancelled. Moreover, the geography of 28 postcode areas has been modified.
