ADC Worldmap is a topographical background map of all countries from the entire world. The product can be considered a digital atlas or ‘gazetteer’.
Administrative borders of Europe, EuroBounadry
A couple of years ago, the European Union started off a cooperation agreement between the European national mapping and cadastral agencies known by the name EuroGeographics. This resulted in a European municipal map called SABE 1mln (Seamless Administrative Boundaries of Europe). The map is generalised to a detail of 200 metres. Geodan is the worldwide distributor of this data set.
CBS district and neighbourhood data set
The Geodan version of the district and neighbourhood data set is based on the dataset of The Dutch CBS (Statistics Netherlands) provided by the Dutch Topographical Survey. For GIS use Geodan corrected the topology, removed the areas outside the land/water boundaries and joined the attributes to the map.

Municipality data set of The Netherlands
The most important map layer of the Municipality data set The Netherlands is the municipal map of The Netherlands. The municipal map shows the boundaries of all municipalities in The Netherlands. The official name of the municipality and the municipal code determined by the CBS (Statistics Netherlands) is linked to every municipality. At the same time, this data set contains a large number of administrative divisions (municipality - aggregates) and a basic reference set.
NUTS 3 areas European Union
Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU) has defined an administrative division for all European member countries. This division is called the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS). The idea behind the NUTS is to have a uniform division through which it is possible to compare data among the member countries. The NUTS division has existed since 1988.
