Geocoder extension for MapInfo Professional
Geocoder is a free extension for MapInfo Professional (as from version 7.5). With this extension you can map your own addresses (also called ‘geocoding’). In order to do so the actual and detailed address database of Geoserver.nl will be used. You will thus not have to buy any data yourself.
How to use?
You download the geocoder tool for free on Geoserver.nl. Geoserver.nl is the online portal of Geodan for online geographic map services. You already have a subscription starting from € 750.
Subsequently you open you own address file (e.g. excel or dbf file) in MapInfo Professional and you can start geocoding your addresses!
Requirements
The only thing you need is MapInfo Professional as from version 7.5 and an internet connection.
