The presentation and processing of geographic information is currently often restricted to a single monitor screen or a projected image on the wall. Generally speaking, there is only one user working with spatial information at any given time. New developments in Human Computer Interaction can however help to eradicate these restrictions. Examples are touch interfaces and voice recognition. By researching into these themes, Geodan aims to take up a leading role in their future application.

Geodan has for example focused its research on large touch interfaces in the form of a table at which several users can work simultaneously: the TouchTable.
