Enabling Tomorrow’s Connected Infrastructure. That is the theme of this innovative event which brings together European businesses, governments and geographical scientists.
Since last year, this event combines two innovative platforms – the Geo Design Summit Europe and the Geo BIM Conference – which focus on and initiate discussions about spatial data analyses and 3D models in spatial design, construction, operation and maintenance. On the agenda this year are, among others, a deeper examination of the integration of ‘geospatial’ technology and BIM, and other trends in the field. These include big data analysis, IoT sensors, drones, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), robotics, sharing work in the cloud, structuring town information, digital twins and so much more… Featuring international speakers representing the top of the industry.

Amsterdam Southeast is home to diverse communities, hosts diverse land uses and houses the Johan Cruijff ArenA (which is an important recreational venue attracting waves of visitors several times a week). The area is fast changing and experiencing a boom in construction activity. Geodan together with SPINLab organizes a workshop. This workshop will focus on the challenge of balancing the needs of the residents, the commercial interests and the aspirations of the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
During the workshop, participants will use geospatial tools and methods to understand the scope of actions required to achieve this balance for the next 5-10 years.
